Modern science is helping us learn more and more about these neurological conditions. Neurology is a medical specialty that encompasses the study of, diagnosis of and treatment of diseases of the brain, spinal cord, spine, nerves and muscle. This includes many conditions including seizures, migraine headaches, stroke, Parkinson disease, Alzheimer disease, multiple sclerosis, degenerative spine disease, brain tumors, Lyme disease, etc.
